A little bit about Waddlers
I started Waddlers primarily to promote the use of washable nappies in my own area of North East Lincolnshire. I live in Cleethorpes and have three children. My first attempt at using washable nappies was unsuccessful, but that was 18 years ago and there wasn't the range of nappies available then. I have used washable nappies with my other two children and would like to share the knowledge I have gained over this period to encourage other parents to do the same.
From my experience at mother and baby groups I have found that most parents are put off by the initial outlay without having the opportunity to see the nappies. Once parents have seen these nappies and have been shown how easy it is to use them there is always a positive reaction.
The natural next step for me was to look for a complementary range of organic toiletries for mother and baby. Choosing Akamuti organic and Fair Trade products was not a difficult decision.
After hearing a great idea on Radio 2 to reduce the reliance on plastic shopping bags I decided to stock Onya Bags. These shopping bags are made of parachute silk and as such are incredibly strong and fold away into their own convenient pouch making it very easy to keep one Onya.
